June Woolerton has worked in News and Current Affairs for two decades, covering big stories with clarity and developing them with creativity.
She’s been a news reporter for BBC Radio Ulster, BBC Wales and BBC Local Radio stations including BBC Essex and BBC Kent, producing engaging live content and carefully crafted packages. June’s presented and produced documentaries for BBC Radio Ulster, BBC Radio 5 Live and BBC Radio 4 on a wide range of issues.
As a producer and editor, she’s taken charge of thousands of programmes, phone ins and outside broadcasts covering news, politics and social issues.
Her earliest experiences in journalism involved writing news, features and columns for local papers before helping set up one of Essex’s most successful community radio stations.
June has written and researched a wide range of material for print and online publications. She is a contributor to a variety of bookazines from Future Publishing and has also had articles recently in magazines including All About History and History of Royals.
Her online work includes a diverse selection of pieces for Popsugar.
